Conflict on Wroona escalates into the death of a Moff

The Galactic News Incorporated logo appears on the screen along with impressive breaking news fanfare music. A Chagrian male appears on one of Wroona's many boardwalks, this one markedly less crowded than usual. Trash and debris is strewn throughout the background. He begins speaking, "Over the last twenty-four hours, the situation on Wroona has escalated in dramatic fashion. What began as accusations of Imperial overreach by local officials has quickly turned to mayhem." The reporter is replaced by security footage of a large Hutt entering a Minstrel-class yacht. Moments later, the ship's hull lurches and a massive fireball erupts from the hatch. "Earlier today, Imperial Grand Moff Hedono was killed in an apparent ship sabotage. Local detectives have been unable to conduct an investigation due to mounting violence, but the Empire
swiftly declared a war on crime and the Crimson Dawn organization specifically as a result. Since then, the planet has been blanketed by overwhelming Imperial force, both in orbit and on the ground. The pace of events has, to put it mildly, become difficult to follow."

A video now shows a dozen Imperial stormtroopers exchanging fire with local security officers. Civilians flee the scene, but several are hit in the crossfire. "Following a group of ranking local security officials releasing a statement against Imperial occupation, casualties have been reported by anonymous members of the Wroonian security force. Councilmember Pojndur, who we interviewed last night, was also found dead in his office in the Capitol, a building which has been under constant Imperial watch over the last week." As the anchor speaks, a commotion is heard to his right. The camera sweeps over to show a Talz male rushing by, speaking briefly to two onlookers, and then vanishing into an alley as three Imperial inquisitors accompanied by Stormtroopers give chase. Something hits the camera, which falls over and cuts out. After a moment of crosstalk, the anchor continues speaking without video. "Ahem. The Empire has been blocking all traffic to and from the planet, declaring it closed for all commercial activity, although as you've just seen, some elements of resistance remain. I'm being told... yes, alright, I'm being told that our crew has been ordered inside a safehouse by Imperial forces. "More crosstalk can be heard in the background. "Yes, sir. Of course. This is Dal Alajama, signing off."
