UFG Timing Window

A change to the window so it can accommodate the most players

Miros has been going through feedback on UFG timing in a Discord thread and we've decided to adjust it sooner rather than later. The code change is still in flight, so the game doesn't reflect this, but I wanted to put this notice out so people can plan accordingly:

We're going to try changing UFG windows to last for 5 hours and then have 3 days of downtime. This should help with war pacing a bit, and we hope also give people a more real amount of downtime between the action.

The game will recalculate when the next UFG window is based on these settings, and it will tentatively be on Wednesday from 4pm-9pm Eastern time. Following that, the next would be 9pm Saturday-2am Sunday Eastern time, and so on.

To avoid it flipping around as this change gets deployed, I'm going to set all the planets as not-UFG for now and cancel the UFG window previously scheduled for midnight eastern time tonight. (And also so our players in the US don't have to open a war with an all-nighter in the middle of the work week!)

One question you might have is "is 5 hours going to be long enough to take a planet with the new system?" Great question, glad you asked! If you don't do any prep work, it's intended to be possible to capture a planet within 5 hours, but perhaps tight if you meet resistance or the enemy is well-prepared. This is meant to push some of the meaningful action outside of the actual UFG window, where it can be done by people who might not be available for the window itself. As always, we'll be watching the first few engagements to see how
things go.
