Syntax: mail list <sent/received/all>
mail read <#>
mail delete <#>
mail take <#>
mail download <#>

The mail system on LOTJ is a helpful way to send private messages to a person
or clan without them needing to be online when you send it. Creating mail
requires using a held datapad and the datamem command. Creating and sending
mail might look something like this:

datamem write new
datamem write 1 from Han
datamem write 1 to Chewie
datamem write 1 subject Brownies Recipe
datamem eject 1
hold disk
mail post

Additionally, you can use mail download <#> to copy a message from the
mail terminal onto a new data disk that appears in your inventory. You can use
mail take <#> to copy the message to a data disk and subsequently delete it
from the terminal, or just use mail delete <#> to delete the message
without saving it.

You will be able to see any mail you sent using the mail list sent command,
and you will be able to see any mail you've received using the mail list
received command. You can just see all of it in one go with mail list all --
or just mail list. Anyone can read and download messages that they've
sent or received, but only recipients can take or delete those messages.

Note that clans can now receive mail, and anyone in clan leadership (i.e.,
the leader, first, or second) and anyone with the mail empowerment can
read, download, take, or delete messages sent to the clan. The name the mail is
sent to must perfectly match the clan name. "Galactic Empire" is not the same
as "The Galactic Empire", for example.

MAILBOX

Syntax: mailbox list

Mailboxes are an addition to the mail system meant to allow mail to be
delivered and received anonymously. Instead of mailing someone by name, you
can now send mail to a mailbox number that the recipient has access to.

In order to purchase a mailbox, you must be standing in a room with a mail
terminal. You can access your mailbox from any mail terminal across the galaxy.
The command mailbox list shows the mailbox numbers that you own and the
number of messages in them.

Mailboxes cost 25,000 credits to purchase, and you may only have a maximum of
three mailboxes at any time.

* Clans can now own mailboxes. To open a clan mailbox or interact with one, you
must either be in clan leadership (i.e., leader, first, or second) or have the
mail empowerment. Clans may only have three mailboxes at a time, and they
cost 100,000 credits each.

To send mail to a mailbox, you must put @<boxnumber> in the `to` line of
a message disk. For example, to send mail to mailbox number 24601, you'd
address the disk to @24601 before sending it.
