Just FYI. Heard they still can parry blaster bolts back at you way too often and the bolts still do ~3k damage a hit, even if your original blaster bolt would’ve only done 618 damage.

      Any eta on a fix?

They don’t do that much damage, or at least they didn’t last era.

They don’t do that much damage..it varies and is closer to the 100-300 range and many times less

Jec probably heard about the level 169 secret sith assassin that is played by 13 staff member and is really twinked.

That’s what I heard on AIM anyway

Normally I value your replies, Walldo.

      There’s more than one now?

I think Walldo was alluding to the fact that (discounting the owners) there are only 12 imm staff members on wizlist. The assassin was being played by a hidden 13th one.

Speaking of Lightsaber’s defending against Blaster Bolts. I’d like to see some Slugthrowers at least sometime, it’d be sweet. The ultimate Anti-Jedi-Sith Weapon.

Lightsabers would still block those, they’d just disintegrate the shots before they hit. Hell, lightsabers can be used to cut blastdoors.

But the idea is that the Little Slugs are so small and come out fast they would be overwhelmed. Much like at the *pushes up his glasses and breaths heavily* Battle of Genosis.

Geonosians used sonic weapons. Also, slugthrowers are not 5000rps uber machine guns–Verpine shatterguns and their derivatives (that one sniper rifle that Jaina used in Invincible, etc) are the only thing close to that.
The only reason that slug throwers were considered as superior to blasters if you’re going to take out a Jedi is because they were harder to sense; blasters put off a -lot- of energy, while "slugs" were a bit harder to see/sense/wutev.

Also, I’m pretty sure LIGHT (read: blaster bolts) moves faster than slugs.

Technically, blaster bolts weren’t light; the light was a by-product. However, the speed doesn’t have anything to do with its difficulty to block; the blaster bolts are easier to DETECT, and force ability takes care of the rest.
