What? So some random new guy in the guild can come and raid the locker at his leisure?

Specify your intentions for a new idea before posting it please. If we can get an idea of your thoughts on the matter, then it’ll help with creating said idea. Just posting something like "Clan Lockers" only serve to make you look like a fool.

That being said, I could only see this working if it was an empowerment. I don’t think it is something that is really needed though.

+1 on this part of the idea

However, I do think it could be useful. Engineers could store all the made armor/weapons/etc so that others could access it to deliver orders. Dunno, just tossing out some helpful ideas on the topic

I like the idea (even though it harkens back to the days of "clan storerooms"–who remembers the one in the old Imperial Korriban base?)… and it’s about a thousand times more likely to be put in now that it isn’t an obvious front for unofficial clan libraries.

What for Kirash? Seems me two word forum post got the message through loud and clear. Empowerment was on my mind, but you guys caught onto it.

      How does that go… +1?

We already have clan storerooms and anyone can access them. Lockers would be un needed code. Yes imms dont like librarys but its not needed anymore for librarys.

Hate to say I liked the challenge of setting up your own library.

To be fair, we /don’t/ have clan storerooms.
What we have are engineering hangars that happen to have the save_eq flag.
If you remember the old clan storerooms, they’re /not/ the same thing. You had to be in the clan to access the old version (or capable of breaking in, which was a harder feat back then).

I like the idea of a "clan storeroom". It would make it easier to outfit people and keep supplies of medpacs, explosives, et cetera up for the army.

A way to do this would be like a ‘bank’ of sorts. Walk into the room, and ‘donate [#] item’ and ‘withdraw [#] item’ and ‘withdrawlog’. That would solve all the problems with it really, and let clanleaders see who donated/withdrew insane shit from the room.

Yes engineering company’s hangars double as clan storerooms but imms can set any room as a storeroom. Getting them to do so is the feat. I can tell you this cause Sienar had one that wasn’t the garage. The garage was one but they had another. We also had an incident where a player decided to walk in get all and run off.

A storeroom with a quartermaster. a few new commands and empowerments

outfit give <item> <target>-gives the item to a designated quartermaster
outfit list-shows the list of items on a quartermaster
outfit take <item> message-takes an item from the quartermaster, and writes a message as to why it was taken
outfit log-reviews the log of people giving and taking items, along with messages.
outfit limit <player> <#>-limits the number of items that can be taken per 24 hour RL period. Defaulted to off.

      empower outtfitter

The command sounds wonky, but I think you all get the jist.

The current problem we have as an engineering clan is with orders. One person does them and the client may not be on for delivery. A clan locker would allow other empowered people access to goods for delivery. A simple note could be put on our clan work order board for delivery:

      Note Subject: Delivery Request
      Client: Walldo
Product: Class III armor and helmet
      Paid: No
      Price: 500,000 credits
      Payable to: Engineer RandomGuy

That way, we can streamline our processes, be able to deliver our goods on time and with little hassle. The locker allows us to use empowerments instead of room access, which seems to be more complicated, and our corporate offices have locker access anyway.

Commands: locker open clan or locker open repub or whatever

un needed code I say this again and again. Mutters I solve this currently by making a box, labeling it &quot;Order for mutters&quot; putting your shit in the box and droping it on the garage pad. Later when you ask for it another person can simply grab it and sell. Also if you dont like how secure your garage is imms can add another clan storeroom with a prog to boot people out under a certain rank.
