So we sacrifice realism? I think thats bullshit. If someone REALLY wants to carry around 3k comlinks and keep track of each of them, more power to them.

I think 3k comlinks would be an exaggeration, and really, the only people this setup hurts are the combat classes, not the spies.

I’d say it’s the other way around (combat mains need gaggles of comlinks far less, and typically have a higher STR and can thus carry more; espi mains need comlinks more and can carry less).

There’s a certain amount of weight a character can carry before they face negative consequences, these consequences have more of a bearing on combat classes than non-combatants. Also, combat classes will have more to carry in the way of armor(s), weapons, ammunition, medpacs, explosives, spice, batteries for their shields, etcetera.
