I wanted to get the opinion of the playerbase before I put this up on Mantis.
I know everyone complains about Forcers having too much they can do, and I agree for the most part. However, this was something that came to me…oddly enough…while I was sleeping, and I thought to myself, "Hey, that would be a pretty cool concept."
Syntax: "feel ward" – Sets up an invisible, temporary ward in the room. The ward will notify the Forcer whenever someone enters the room regardless of the Forcer’s location as long as it lasts. This would be similar to an alarm or a detection beacon, except the warning would be in the Forcer’s mind. Only one room per Forcer can be warded at any one time, and after a Forcer drops a ward, he or she cannot ward another room until the previous ward has expired.
The only issue I have with this is it would encourage bunk running. However, if you have a Forcer, you should NEVER be bunk running, but that is an arguement for another time.
Thoughts?

Sounds more like a D&D magic spell than a Star Wars Force sensitive ability.

+1
I can’t think of a single example where a Jedi or Sith (let alone both) could do this in EU. Certain Force users could tell if a certain person (or anyone) had been in a room recently or farther in the past–or even in the future, and they could look elsewhere at people… but to do both at the same time? No.

It is an interesting idea, but it does sound more like a magic spell then a force ability.
On the other hand;
Though I haven’t played a forcer, it could represent a forcers ability to sense other forcers in multiple rooms away, or even in space. That statement assuming they can’t already.

What about instead of it being a long range thing it just works like a motion detection beacon. The forcer sets it in the room he is in and knows when someone sneaks in.
