Okay…the Combine skill is useful for making boxes of droid parts that you need for the RepairDroid skill to repair your droid. Why can you just pick up any random old medpac and heal a droid? That makes the Repairdroid skill useless. Pretty much everyone gets the first aid skill. Medpacs have like twenty+ uses, where as a box of droid parts only has one, so ultimately medpacs will heal more that the box of parts. I suggest making droids non-repairable by medpacs, so the skill actually has some use. Because right now, both Combine and Repairdroid are fairly useless.

Healing a droid is fairly useless since they are priced so low. But that’s player driven, and no one will be changing that up, much like no one will be changing up how much MSTR-set datapads cost any time soon. Both are special, and used regularly, yet both are equally cheap and, because of their price, expendable.

This make sense. The whole medpac/bacta thing is one of the last major hurdles for widespread player droids I think.

besides the whole thing where clan droids like to die if you go LD and completely log out. that’s only a minor hurdle or something.
