With the end of the war, the time has come for a big wave of senate apps as the Republic seeks to bring order to the wild west of the Outer Rim Territories.
We’ll only be soliciting senate apps for a few planets at a time, so if your planet isn’t listed, please hold tight for now.

Because we have been in era 1 for a while and are coming up on whatever might come after era 1, we are looking for adventrous souls who are keen on getting
involved in driving the story forward. We are interested in seeing a range of characters and, more importantly, ideas. Remember! Not all senators need to be
shining beacons of upstanding morality. We are interested in schemers, both good, bad and everything in between.

Both new and current characters will be accepted.

Here are a few questions to get you thinking about what to include in your app:

  • What will your character contribute to the mud and its storyline, both IC and
    OOC, if approved?
  • What are your character’s goals?
  • When all is said and done, what does your character hope their legacy will be?
  • What do YOU hope your character’s legacy will be?
  • Why is your character running for senate? What are they hoping to accomplish?

These are the planets we are currently accepting apps for. We’ll be moving down the list as seats get filed, so sit tight!

DAC: A mainstay Republic world for ages, the home of the Mon Calamari and Quarren has recently flirted with both a pro-separatist senator and a brewing
Quarren rebellion deep in the oceans. Dac’s new senator will have their work cut out for them to rally and unite the people.

Nal Hutta: The Hutt homeworld was more than happy to take advantage of the Trade Federation’s reconstruction efforts in the Outer Rim to line their own
pockets. After House Klupho launched an armed attempt to seize the planet, the Republic pushed back and now seeks a senator to oversee pacification.

Please read Help Senateapps and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to direct them at the staff. Good luck!

Help IMMChat is a rule, not a guideline or suggestion
HELP IMMCHAT. Read it. Learn it. Live it. As of today, those who do not abide by this rule will not be answered. Period. That means any immchats of 'Hey, anyone there?' or any other variation of that will be met with stark silence. And, using assistance after saying 'Hey, anyone there?' and not receiving an answer will lead you to a heap of trouble. Not trying to be rude, but with fewer of us around, I don't have time to a)Sort through the bull to find the issues and b)Read through 3 hours of assistance spam. Thanks in advance.

Tatooine Commission Finds Zero Impact
It has been over a decade since the destruction of the Baktoid Medical Center saw tonnes of toxic material spew forth into the Tatooine sky causing massive environmental harm to the Mos Eisley region. In the years that followed, a local commission was created to run a ten year long study on the long term effects of the exposure to the unknown chemicals that filled the skies that fateful day. Well, the study has been concluded and the results are now being made public by lead research Merest Zall. "Greetings everyone, after careful study and long term observation, we have been able to conclude that there has been no long lasting effects from the exposure and that Tatooine is well on it's way to a full recovery. We took samples of the flora and fauna native to the planet and ran numerous tests over the last ten years and found no significant deviations in their genetic structure pre-disaster and do not anticipate any further issues arising."

Ithor elects Oblatt Baal
On an assembly area, on the planet Ithor, the newly apponted Senator, a very strong, good looking reddish brown skinned Ithorian male timidly takes the podium. "My name is Oblatt Baal and I speak tonight for the dignity of all beings and the destiny of Ithor and of the Republic." His voice cracks slightly, and he seems slightly embarrassed, "I once was a Priest of the Mother Jungle, once destined to lead the Herd, yet my path has taken me in a different direction, further than I ever imagined. The future doesnt belong to the fainthearted: it belongs to the brave." He continues and his voice begins to grow in confidence, become more fervent, "This moment is so much bigger than me. This is for every nameless, faceless citizen of the Ithor, of any race and any color and I do solemnly swear to fight for and uphold the rights of all of my cherished people that now have an equal chance at betterment because they have been given, nay, they have chosen a voice in the Republic Union. Everything I value most in my life, you the people of Ithor, the people of the Republic, have given me." His voice seems to hum melodically as he comes to the close of his speech, "The Galaxy has been through much in recent times and those of us have felt the pangs of loss, of hurt and of destruction can rest easier. But, it is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought have thus far so nobly advanced. And stand together, in peace, for prosperity, for the betterment of future generations."
