Just a quick update –
I was doing some website work this afternoon and while trying to debug the login issues, I turned off the big ol’ switch that links the mud to the website and without that, the mud couldn’t run. Rojan’s taken a bunch of time out of his day to get everything straightened, god bless ’em.
No ETA on when we’ll be back yet but we aren’t expecting any data loss.

June 9 backups restored + Monday’s downtime
Monday afternoon, Walldo broke things while trying to update the website. Rojan spent more than a few hours working on getting us back up and running.
As a result, we had to restore backups from June 9 of accounts and area files. Things that might be affected: player homes, newly built ships, ship inventory.

Email me if I can offer a hand Walldo. Looks like you guys are still experiencing some technical difficulties.

For how often it is up, that is no surprise. It is all a matter of perspective.
The times it is down feel like forever!

98% uptime means that it can be down for a little over a full day every other month.

I’m not sure why the auto reboot script wasn’t running, I will let Rojan know about it.
