The formula for calculating showrace has been tweaked. Previously, showrace was calculated around the race having 15 in all stats. Now, showrace is based on the race’s maximum stats (not 25s, but the highest they can train to). Characters will come out of chargen with lower max levels, but as you train stats you will see increases. Another difference from the previous system is that now the levels that showrace say are the levels you get varying a only couple levels, instead of varying by 20+ levels.The stat modifiers on showrace are still a base of 18.

It still gives you a 1,2,3,4 but now it is more accurate as to what you’ll end up with

To be honest, the smuggling thing was/is pretty annoying since Luck is such a random stat. Nothing worse than seeing Smuggling Tier 3 and then only getting 10 levels of Smuggling.
