Alright, I finished the game. Here’s a mini-review from me. Fairly alright storyline. Some of the later missions just become incredibly difficult, even on the "Sith Warrior/Normal" level. There are 10 levels total and I’d guess it took me right at 12-13 hours to finish the game. I did however run into the "default text" glitch, though thankfully it didn’t happen until the last mission. For those that haven’t heard of it, if under your mission objectives it says "Default Text*" then your file is corrupt and it won’t keep track of your XP or holocrons you obtain from then on. We’ll see if they come up with a patch to fix it.
[i:20xc747s]Overall, on a scale of 1-5, I’d give the game a 3.[/i:20xc747s]
[b:20xc747s]Pros[/b:20xc747s]: Beautiful game.
—Great to go back and play the missions again with your newly gained powers just to be rather over the top.
—Fighting style is easy to handle and overall the game feels like other games you’ve most likely already played…but just toss in some Jedi.[b:20xc747s]Cons[/b:20xc747s]: The "default text" glitch can be fairly huge, at least it hit me at the end.
—No online, no multiplayer and limited replay desire.
—Camera angle is always having to be adjusted and some of the boss battles this can be really annoying.
—The depth perception is difficult for throwing objects
—Button masher. Just like the "pro" of the game feeling like something you’ve played before and being easy to control..its also just that..something you’ve played before. XXXY, XXXB, jump slash etc…You’ve done it on God of War, you’ve done it on Prince of Persia and tons of other games.[b:20xc747s]Eh’s[/b:20xc747s]: The storyline. For what was suppose to be the biggest aspect of the game, I was kind of "blah" towards it. Though there were a couple of cool scenes.
—Snipers. By far the most annoying aspect of the game to me. Once they keyed in on you, it almost didn’t matter what you did, they wouldn’t break the aim and would tag you for a rather nasty bit of damage.

Here’s my review of Force Unleashed.
I went the cheap route since I still have my PS2 and I don’t have a 360 or PS3 nor a computer capable of running it.
It is an interesting game to say the least. It has an intriguing storyline, though not quite KOTOR massive revalation-type. If I were to try to describe it, picture God of War meets Star Wars. As you progress through the game, the challenges get harder and the enemies seem to overwhelm you even more so than your standard "Empire-strength-in-numbers" type of tactics.
[b:19e38cm0]Pros:[/b:19e38cm0]
Even for the PS2, the game still looks relatively nice
Seeing certain planets up close and/or in a new light
Force powers are sweet
Finishing combos for some of the bosses are well executed and sometimes quite amusing
Each Lightsaber battle has that epic feel to it[b:19e38cm0]Cons:[/b:19e38cm0]
Even though the game looks relatively nice for the PS2, I have seen better graphic quality and I’m sure they could have done better to push the PS2 hardware further than they did.
Even with Target Lock-On, the camera is really really funky in the way it focuses sometimes
The storyline, while intriguing and interesting, is too predictable
Semi-quality replay value[b:19e38cm0]PS2 Rating:[/b:19e38cm0]
Graphics: 5
Story: 6
Gameplay: 8
Sound: 7
Replay Value: 4Overall Rating: 6
The PS2 version is a good addition to any Star Wars video game collection. However, if you purchase the PS2 version, don’t expect to be blown out of your mind. It is a great game in its own right, but the sub-par graphics kind of kill it for me…especially in light of how killer awesome some other games look. If you have a 360, Wii, or PS3, get it for those systems instead of the PS2. If you’re like me and only have a PS2, then get it for that.

The game is awesome. It is just too short… 9 missions! There could be so much more. Besides that I have nothing bad to say about the game.
I cant agree with that camera thing. It has allways worked out fine for me. And those snipers… Just leap quickly when their beam turns red. It is ten times harder when there are snipers, turrets and those fucking purge troopers shooting some homing shit at you… That is fucking pain! You are lying on the floor most of the time.
