Around 3:30 CST, 4:30 EST, i’ll be going on 104.9 The Edge out of Lombard to promote my band, The Brother Whys (<!– m –><a class="postlink" href="http://www.myspace.com/thebrotherwhys">http://www.myspace.com/thebrotherwhys</a>&lt;!– m –>). They do this weekly ‘MySpace Spotlight’ thing. I know I’d be listening for it.

Some updates!

We’ve finished up in the studio and are sending out the master copy for manufacture in the coming days. Once we get it, we’ll be selling the album online via an ebay shop (sorry, no digital downloads). Two new tracks are up on our myspace (Thumbtacks and Acid Rain) for your listening pleasure.

We have another radio appearance tomorrow night (Monday) that you can stream over the interwebs. We’ll go on around [b:1gw5ah5h]9PM CST, 10PM EST[/b:1gw5ah5h] and will be playing for an hour. All sorts of acoustic songs, and some b-sides that we didn’t record in the studio. Unfortunately yours truly won’t be there, but it should be a good time. I ususally can’t listen to that kind of music.. but your band isn’t that bad, Walldo. YOU ARE AN EXCEPTION, like it.

Were you high or drunk? I think I’ve seen that name somewhere outside LotJ community. Myspace doesn’t count, it sucks.

One of the biggest concerns when we were renaming ourselves was to find a name that was unique. There are 5 or 6 other bands out there called ‘The Squares’.

Google reveals no results for The Brother Whys, so anything you have heard was probably some backwards-ass Finnish thing.

Probably some finnish shit, but I’ve heard it. Anyway, I’m too lazy to check out your band so I’ll just call it bad. Is that ok?

We just rapped up a three day spin of shows, was a total blast.
