Stupid bloody website

As i had with the last website, the stupid setup of having to identify the computer trying to connect to have access to any of the tools incorporated into it and the ability to cast rpc votes on it. I’ve now neglected to vote for the last three rpcs because the "security" does nothing but screw people over who don’t want to mess around with their router/firewall.
Can all the options that need to have the computer logged onto the mud please be revoked as i’d like to atleast be able to look at what is available and perhaps even use it one time. Change the voting where you must lodge your account name and vote, once your account has voted no more votes will be accepted from that account or even have some sort of voting ingame preferably so isp’s can be noted and logged.

i believe the vast majority of the player base doesn’t share this problem. and if that’s true, then there’s no real reason to change the way things work.

Eh, I must say it does suck going to a school that doesn’t let you play MUDs cause they block all ports except HTTP etc.
I have to use a proxy to play, so I can’t use the tools either.
Oh well. Though, it would be nice to have some sort of workaround.

For the last SEVERAL elections Anna has taken personal email votes for people in a similar situation.
