Mine was made by one person and then modified by another to add comlink and tone. They also put it in the colors of the Irish flag. I’m reluctant to share how to do it without their permission but I’ll show you what it looks like =]

Ambiance is a spy/double-agent/triple-agent’s best friend/lover.(Much better definition than that stupid helpfile, FYI)

I dont use ambience in my prompt because its too easy to know what your ambiance is without it.
Loud isnt used at all in this mud. If your in a ship its quiet. If your not in a ship its average.

Here’s my meager contribution. I’m actually pretty satisfied with the aesthetic of it.
&z|&Y%g&z| (&G%A&z) ( &rton:&R%D&z|&rlng:&R%w&z|&rcom:&R%k.%K&z|&ramb:&R%J &z)%_&z|&Y%g&z| ( &rhp:&R%h&p/&r%H &z| &bmv:&B%v&p/&b%V &z| &cOOC&z(&C%u&z)&c:&G%B &z)&w%_
Which looks like:
|*| () ( ton:none|lng:basic|com:6161.0|amb:average )
|*| ( hp:2755/2755 | mv:1990/1990 | OOC(48)||||| )I realize the approached tag is in the middle – it’s that way on purpose. I don’t want to be approached and have my eyes gloss over it… I want it to be an eyesore.

There are certain, specially-coded areas that are loud; however, to my knowledge, there isn’t a specific room TYPE that automatically gives itself that ambiance, as starships do to quiet.

If there is a loud area I have never come around is in game.

For those who like the basics but a little less epilepsy-inducing colour wise.
prompt %_&O[&RHp&O:&W %h&O/&W%H&O] [&GMv&O:&W %v&O/&W%V&O]&w%_%_&O[&cOOC&O:&w %B&O]&w
Translates to:
/color:mev40rfr]Hp[/color:mev40rfr]: 900/[/color:mev40rfr]900 /color:mev40rfr]Mv[/color:mev40rfr]: 1990/[/color:mev40rfr]1990
|||||[/color:mev40rfr]
All the black elements are obviously white on the MUD.

On the ambiance note there, should make it so say travels rooms also in those ambiance levels, they might travel half the distance as the yells would or something, haven’t thought about it much just reading now and saw it so just a thought.
