I’m thinking about adding a database of different lotj scripts (ie buildship triggers, etc) for different clients. Please vote!

Can we make it so that its just things like buildship and so on? I’d hate to see people sharing all sorts of PK scripts (if people even use them on LOTJ I dunno, but I know old muds people used them like mad).

Not illegal, only hazardous to your own health.

Like all the scripting its allowed so long as you’re at the computer and monitoring it 100%, as i read it. As Troll said, people will try and screw with bots/triggers/scripts so you always run some risks using them.

PK scripts are a great way to die.

Cargorunning with scripts is not illegal as long as you don’t bot it.

I run several scripts at the moment. I have one to study queue items up and move down the list as I adept skills. I have one to queue building ships. It moves parts along smoothly and it has an endurance mode for fast move draining ships. I run a research one, a teaching one. I did this for science mostly I can queue a set of skills and teach somebody all of them without manuel typing. Teachscience walldo. I have a custom UI done by scripting that I helped several players set up. I also have a traveling one for the pesky times when immortals move planets. I will find the new coords automaticly.

The potent problem (at least for MUSHclient scripts) I can see here is conflicts between two scripts .. there’s of course a way to ensure that scripts don’t conflict, but that’s something I really haven’t looked into at all.
