Phomes suck. I thought of a way to make it better. During wars, force_entry should work on phomes on planets owned by the opposite clan.
The Dominion is at war with the Mandalorians. Arkanian homes are not safe because Mandalorians don’t give a shit about doors. Any homes on Mandalore would be equally unsafe. Pretty good compromise, if you ask me.

I would approve this if we could change home lockers to actual lockers, to cut down on illegal theft. I know that you could just say “Oh but the IMMs would get them!”…to which I’d respond with some sarcastic joke about lack of enough staff members around to worry with something like that.

If someone had a bounty on then it would be interesting if their home could be busted into by a BH. I had thought originally that is what doorbash was for.

I’m totally on board with this. Homes are a little bit over powered in these situations. I think making it so warring clans can enter and possibly bounty hunters would be a great idea. War isn’t something that is started lightly, so I don’t think you have to worry about a clan declaring war just to get in someone’s home. Bounty hunters, on the other hand, could be a lot more difficult to police.
As far as lockers are concerned, I believe they should only be accessible to the home owner and anyone on the resident list. Since it is a breach of rules to take anything from someone’s locker, it probably should have been set up this way a long time ago. I do think it would be nice to preserve the treasure trove aspect though, for when the owner dies, rather than have the locker vanish with the character.

I’m all for the phomes not being safe during war.
I’d like to second xavious on lockers still staying open to more than one person, but those people only being residents and the owner.

it would be very interesting if homes could have a security rating on their doors. break the security during time of war you can go in.
skill called doorhack?
