      The Aftermath

      (Over the past 10 years)
Droid shells, weaponry, and scrap metal litter planets across the galaxy following the titanic battle between the Morgukai and the Techno Union. Even prior to this recent struggle, conflict between the Morgukai and the Republic, the consolidated alliance and the Sith Empire, and the Republic and the Mandalorian Crusaders leaves the galaxy ravaged, tired, and despondent.

With the dissolution of the Republic, the Alpha and Omega unit have declared themselves Emperor of the newly-formed Morgukai Empire. Riding high on their victory over the Techno Union, they have attempted to enforce martial law upon their temporarily-attained subject worlds – to disastrous effect. Tired of the iron fist, sick of rule from afar, and spurred on by the rapid traction of a ‘droids first’ mentality within the Empire, nearly all subject planets have withdrawn from the Morgukai Empire – either by bargaining or by force. Irritated and seeking any opportunity to expand, the law of Morgukai rule grows ever harsher on organic lifeforms.

In the interim, several factions have appeared almost overnight across the galaxy – some legitimate, some not. Enterprising individuals have pushed the boundaries of commerce and innovation, consistently working to outmaneuver other market players until the best of the best have emerged in the form of two competitive industrial firms. Ad hoc planetary governments appear to be the growing trend, most seemingly indifferent to galactic politics. However, this lack of coordinated organization and galactic oversight has allowed for seedier elements to slip through the cracks of civilized society. Organized crime, theft, and even slavery have become a fixture within the remote Outer Rim systems.

      Hello,

I’m looking forward to this change. However, I’ve never been through an era change. How long will the mud be down for the changes? Thanks!
