The term "staff" is synonymous with "immortals" ("Imms"). This term is used to describe anyone from the game's owners to a main port builder. Build port (or another building-only port, e.g. the "New TL" port) builders and members of the Roleplaying Council are not typically addressed by this term; in other words, the term "staff" implies a main port immortal of level 102 or higher. Unlike members of the Roleplaying Council, immortals are appointed by the administrators of Legends of the Jedi; however, many staff members have been drawn from the ranks of past and successful RPC.
