A ban is an immortal tool used to prevent rulebreaking players from connecting to the MUD. If you are banned, you are not legally allowed to log in to the MUD, and your computer is physically blocked from doing so.
Any rule in the rules that is listed as (bannable) is grounds for a banning. This does not mean that banning is the only possible punishment, or that you cannot be banned for breaking other rules. Each punishment is issued on a case-by-case basis. We try to be accomodating, so players should't be afraid of being banned for accidentally breaking rules.
- First offense: One week ban
- Second offense: Two week ban
- Third offense: 1 month ban
- Fourth offense: 3 month ban
- Fifth offense: 6 month ban
- Sixth offense: 1 year ban
Bans lengths will be 1 year increments after the sixth ban. All bans may be upgraded to a permanent ban with Administrator approval at any time.
