Maybe add in eating/drinking again, but with LONGER timers for each. So you’re not spammed "You are STARVING!" 50 times a second. And with the gather skill, add in cooking/skinning/butchering.
I understand that hunger is usually annoying, but it adds realism if done right. Just a thought.
